My Life
My people have suffered,
trying to keep their dreams alive.
So have I.
I am here today, able to dream
because of my people.
Living in a world,
that has to yet, overcome animosity.
I wonder if we're still able to survive,
this reality, that just breaks our hearts.
I myself, don't judge but, I've been judged
and it hurts...
